Dual sim phone
 

Hi, are there any potential issues I could face if I use a dual SIM phone too put two different SIM cards for two different eBay accounts in one phone ?

Yes that's what I thought too , just wanted to see if anyone has done this before .... But I'll give it a go and see

If it is just for voice calls there is no problem but I would suggest not to use any app in there.

Sounds good because I only plan to receive calls with this.

since I was banned once before By either eBay or Paypal because they couldn't contact me by phone ,so dont want to take chances selling without an active phone line

Ive tried it and it works fine. Not a smartphone though, just a bog standard old Nokia type of phone.

Using a dual SIM phone works fine for eBay purposes, provided you are using the phone only to receive calls / SMS for account verification purposes. I have done this with no issues arising.

It is a bad idea to login to your eBay account using the phone because although each SIM card would have a unique IP address, eBay cookies would be stored on the phone memory which would lead to account linking issues.

F. Y. I. Often multi SIM phones have a unique IMEI number for each SIM card slot, so it identifies as a separate phone on the telephone network. This makes no difference for eBay, who have no way of identifying the IMEI number anyway.
