Does ebay ban for late shipment rate?.
 

I am not 100% on how this new metric works because it seems to have an above standard and a top rated standards, but no below standard. If anyone know.. Please let us know. I ;m sure there are more people wondering the same thing.

A late shipment on an order counts as a defect. Accounts are all rated on defects.

If you cancel an order because you do not have the item, eBay needs to settle a buyer dispute, or an order arrives late.

These are the criteria that will count as defects

I had done some more research on this and what I'm reading is eBay will take away your trs status bug will not effect your account otherwise. Also my defect rate is flawless on my dashboard but the late shipment rate is on a completely different section. Are you sure in what you said. Did you have a source or explain more in deph

I looked at this more. Yeah. EBay's late shipment won't go against your defect rate. So does this mean that you can be banned for an account with 0 defects?. I'm thinking maybe not because there is no below standards for the shipment metric, but you will lose trs for sure.

I can confirm this, as my late shipment rate is above 10 percent.
I got a call from eBay asking me to revise my listing handling time due to the high rate, my account is perfect otherwise.
I asked them if the I risk being ban they said no. However, they said I wont qualify for top rated status until I get it down.

So keep in mind they is a high chance they may try to get in contact with you.

Lol. The way this policy works exactl not make one bit of sense for a very obvious reason That I am not even going to mention lmao. Ebay is oblivious to reverse common sense. Anyway atleast they finnally got better getting rid of the stupid dsr system and replacing it with a new one
