Just a reminder to never put eggs in one basket

Just got a new contract with an official approved supplier for a new product...

I listed the item, haven't sold one yet... My account gets suspended 7 days for copyright... No chance to send invoices, no review, just cant list "new" items for 7 days... Calling them is a joke... They say I need to wait out the 7 days....

Although, I can relist items that are ending.... Simply no new products 7 days...

I mean dang do I need to call ebay first for every new item?

I took me several months to workout the contract...

Now gotta contact vero department and prove legit items....

Just venting cause its a pain....

That sucks man. That 7 day restriction is a major strike against an account, you don't get much leeway after that.

Really blows that you got taken out for something you're technically approved to sell.

its so frustrating this account has had millions of dollars in sales. Been a Top Rated Platinum power seller for years. Just had an increase to list $675,000 monthly. My shipping ratio is 100% on time and I have had 10 Negative feedbacks. Mostly by people less then 20 feedback about something easily solved if contacted, actually I contacted them afterwards to fix damaged delivery, easy replacement.

I paid $120,000+ in ebay fees last year. One little item that I am a approved by manufacture to sell gets me suspended on first violation. They just do not care.

I contacted Vero and they have a very snippy attitude... unreal...

Strange thing though is I can relist any items I have previously listed, but cant list anything "NEW".....

Just glad I have plenty of backup accounts... Thanks to this site and Aspkin, I would have been totally stressed out by it, but the luxury of multiple accounts and spreading sales though Amazon and other accounts bought here made it a bearable situation

That is pretty much the only way to handle selling online through eBay or Amazon. We can sit around all day and complain about how unfair this policy or that policy is, but it will get us nowhere. The answer is to sell across several accounts. That way, the likelihood of being totally shut down decreases dramatically.

So is your plan now going to be starting a new stealth with 5/500 limits? That sounds like it's going to be tough.

5/$500 are pretty awesome, they get limit increases a lot more than 10/$1,000 accounts.

An account with those limits is a sweet little fish....

Within 4 months of selling to the limits, I have managed organic increases.

True that, I'm just saying the rough part is coming down from 650,000 in sales, or something, and then start off with 5/500, gonna be rough for a bit.

Keep in mind, in this case, PepsiMax has other accounts.

I would sincerely hope & wish, it would not be too much grief.

Goes to show to never trust ebay.

If I had an account doing that kind of volume, eBay had better be calling ME.

That said, TBH, it's really worth taking 15 mins to hash it out over the phone. Is the Indian rep going to help you personally? Of course not. But tell them you have invoices to supply and have them get you in touch with a decision maker. It can ALWAYS be overturned.

Some of my best accounts ever are 5/500 limit accounts. I get nice increase most of the time within 1 month, sometimes even after the 1st sale.

So give me all of your 5/500 and step aside.

That is a crap load of fees being paid, wow!!

I want to say that I am jealous but I wont be. I wont be jealous since I wont be building my ebay account upto that level. I have a time table to get out of ebay for good and its coming up fast.
