Category Seller Limits

Any possible way to get rid of the 5 items per category on new accounts? Pretty ridiculous you have to wait 90 days for that. My seller limit is 25/1500.

Not sure, every new account I have been making only allows me to list 5 even though my monthly limit is much higher than that on my accounts. I figured everyone knew a loop around it lol

There are a lot of categories that have "category limits". You can't wave a wand and make them go away, sell to your limit. This is why we tell people to have a few accounts running at the same time.

Yes, I have seen it now. I literally sold 1 item last month, and tried to list another and it said I had reached my limit for the month. Seriously? 1 item?

Most new accounts with little selling history have category limits. You just need to sell in other categories and wait the 90 days. They will drop off eventually.

Category limits are imposed on high risk categories. You'll need it to fall off before you can list again.

Sometimes calling in and asking eBay to remove the category limits early works, but only sometimes.

on some accs i had 0 category limits, and others i did have category limits, not sure why

Usually that only happens on really high risk items

I wouldn't sell on new account with category limits. This is a big flag if I was selling on newish account...

You must be selling on a high risk category that cost a lot per item.

You don't want to sell too many anyways on it specially on a brand new account.

Is this the only category you are currently able to sell in in terms of your inventory?
