eBay account restricted
 

Today eBay sent me a message, asking me to verify my account, by showing proof of identity, and also receipts for items i sell. Has anyone been in that situation before?

Will I ever get my account reinstated, after providing those documents?

Yes, its common for them to ask for proof of identity etc. Sometimes if you start selling much more or making more money than normal or selling risky items they ask for receipts etc. I was asked last year and I provided all the documents, but I didn't have receipts from my suppler so I just created them myself and sent them over and had my account back within a day or two.

Unless you are doing something against the rules and thats why they ask then it shouldn't be a problem to get your account back to normal.

If you can provide what they're asking for you can get the account back. Otherwise you need to move on to new accounts. :)

Welcome to the forums - you MAY be reinstated but nothing is 100%...a lot depends on the risk assessment by PP...were you selling risky items?

it normally happens when you have little feedback and have listed alot or if you have suddenly started selling expensive items

its to prove you are not a crook
