Analyze my account, add EIN or no?

Hi all.

I am looking for a more experienced member to analyze this account to give their advice on if I should add a EIN and continue selling on it, or move sales onto a different account. All future sales will be in the high risk, used electronics category.

Opened October 2015
100 transactions, 21K total sales
180 items / 25K limit
3 of 84 cases closed without seller resolution
7 of 100 transactions shipped late.

In October I temporarily ditched eBay and this account as well. I am not looking for reprimand on poor performance, if you intend to post something accusatory and unhelpful, please refrain.

My main concern is that, even with complete focus and not having any other cases closed without my resolution (again occurred back in October when I ditched ebay/the account), it will eventually be banned because of those 3 cases closed without resolution. However, I don’t have enough experience to know if this will occur or not, so I am asking the help of more experienced member who has been in this situation.

Thank You. Zero

Re: Analyze my account, add EIN or no?

You would have already been suspended if they were going to suspend you due to DSR's.

When I first read your post and saw your statistics, I was going to say NO WAY. But then I saw that you abandoned the account for a while. If you don't make a habit of abandoning your account then coming back to it later to resume business, you should be fine to add an EIN to this account.

Just keep a close eye on your cases. In the few years I've been selling I've never had a case close without me resolving it.

If you make a commitment to keep to and do things right than definitely. The biggest red flag is the 3 cases without seller resolution. Late shipment and all that isn't good but that is the bad mark.
