Selling e-giftcards rules for ebay?
 

Hi,

I have some e-gift cards for a popular online/offline store here in the UK. My question is can anyone shed light on selling such items on ebay. I am worried about customers getting their codes (by email) and trying to charge back (in effect getting the code for free). Is it true that ebay/paypal don't refund e-giftcards? Any experiences?

I tried e-giftcards once.....never again, just brings out the scammers.

Just treat them as regular gift cards and specify it as such in your auction description. Make sure to emphasize that shipping will be done by mail with tracking and that you will not agree under any circumstances to email the gift card code.
That's the only way to be covered.

Thanks for your input guys. I think I'll try to stear clear of e-giftcards while I learn about how the beast that is ebay works.
