How to not setup automatic payment on ebay

Sometimes, eBay requires me to link my paypal to ebay to setup automatic payment before a sucessful listing. Is there any way I can avoid completing this part in linking paypal, bank account, or credit card?

You will need to link something, either ebay to paypal or add a card to ebay

To be a seller on ebay you MUST have a linked payment method.
No way around it.
