Accidentaly clicked eBay email

Hi.

First of all thanks for the help.

I was on my iPhone checking an eBay email (I use Gmail) received into my stealth account and I accidentally clicked something... However I quickly closed Safari and deleted history and cookies. Will this cause a flag?

I was also wondering... Is it fine to reply to messages that ussers send me through the email directly?

Thanks in advance.

Gmail works ok if you disable all images and beacons.

You people crack me up. When you do something like this, you post hysterically like you just opened an envelope full of anthrax.

Typically a one-time mistake will NOT doom your account. Don't do it again though.

Yeah, everyone thinks there's some sort of an EB or PP center with huge world maps on big screens on the walls, and there's some kind of a red alert that goes off similar to a nuclear missile launch warning, and that suddenly everybody at EB or PP goes to Defcon 5 when this happens. :)

The truth is these little errors like logging in from a previously used IP from a different account once, or clicking on a link in an email, or something else minor are ignored, or maybe they slowly aggregate over time, and maybe someday they reach some unknown threshold where a bot takes notice of a 'pattern'.

Stay out of trouble, keep customers happy, follow EB's rules, and chances are good you'll be okay.

I have stealth accounts that are five years old, and they're doing just fine.

My case is different but similar. I wish to start using an old inactive account now that ebay screwed me, but realized I logged into it 5 times from the same computer as my newly restricted account. It was before I was restricted. If 1 IP mistake isn't bad.. what about 5? Are IPs even logged when both accounts are in good standing, at the time neither account was in "poor" standing?
