Cannot add Entropay Card
 

I'm not having a good day.

I have attempted to add an Entropay Card to a PP account (for buying) today and I got an error message that PP could not accept it.

However I added one to an established seller account no problem.

Is this a case of recycled numbers or security?

I am getting this message on numerous accounts now

"We're sorry, we can't add this card. Please try adding a different card to your account."

Cam someone advise what is going on please?

Go into the classic mode and then try adding it. It should work.

Today has been awful for me.

1. I appear to have lost a seller account (one month old) when I attempted to add a Barclays Saver account. (Recycled number I think and I was limited.)

2. I created a new Personal Paypal account with Entropay. During the creation period the Modem crashed. I entered the Captcha on account creation and it kept on going in a loop. However the account opened anyway without the card added. Instant Limitation anyway.

3. I am having trouble adding cards to other Personal accounts and they are not being accepted. I added a card to one - instant limitation.

Not sure what is happening here?

Can anyone assist please?

I have had that once with entropay when I was trying to add a card number that was already added to another account by mistake.:spy:

The entropay, is it under your real (not stealth) details?, has it got sufficient funds loaded? best option is go buy a VCC from an account seller on the forum, and you'll be good to go in no time.

Yes Entro is in my real details. I have a lot of accounts now and this has never happened before.

I was pretty stressed before but I have an idea what might of happened.

On the Paypal sign up page I think I copied and pasted details from excel to sign up, rather than typing the names and addresses.

Hence the Captcha did not accept my entries thinking I was spamming.

That's one theory. I will leave it for a few days before attempting again.

Let us know how it all goes. Entropay is different to other cards and can come with added stress. Try the alternatives out there if no luck. Account sellers is again a good option if time is of the essence.

Thanks. Paypal have been behaving strangely in the last week.

I will attempt again mid week and report back.

They are different to other cards - added complexity.

Anyway OP, try to add the card manually after logging in (next time). Sometimes this issue can occur if your adding the card at time of creating the account.

Just opened a PP account with an Entro card no problems.

Buggy as hell though.

The system would not accept the email address at first.

I did clearly mention 'added complexity' for a reason. To essentially emphasise that other cards out there work a charm without any of the hassle posed by Entropay.

P.S. if you have nothing positive to say, or anything that would add to the solution provided, I would suggest you look for another thread to help out in.

You never use your real info here though.

Yes, you create your MAIN account with real ID & fund from your credit debit card.

Then you make a virtual card with funds from the main account.
You then add the numbers only to paypal.

Nothing complex there.

Been using this methods since 2007

Your suggestions about my participation are irrelevant.

There is NOTHING remotely complex about entropay. There is no 'hassle' posed by entropay.

It is overall one of the best and cost effective options out there by a long way.

Your suggestions in threads seem to be 'buy a card from the marketplace'.

That is not a suggestion to solve a problem, that is a cop out.

I have seen this recently whilst using Entropay to set up accounts. I have no idea what causes it or indeed why one account gets hit with it and others do not. Normally creating a new Entropay card resolves the issue (it did in the instances I've experienced it).

I've also had the same error with AVS cards so the problem is not specific to Entropay.

Another way I resolved it was to logout of the account, wait 10 mins, log back in, tried again and it added.

Entropay is certainly less complex than any other VCC as it does not provide AVS data with transactions.

We have a group all using entropay.

None of us have had the issue of this that we could confirm.

But, in about early 2008, entropay in the US might have had this issue. Customer Support of entropay were inconclusive.

Personally I am thinking bluidy buggy paypal is the problem.

Certainly possible that Entropay card numbers are recycled with new expiry dates and new cvvs.

Only some technical expert at Paypal (if such a person even exists, lol) could tell you what the actual cause is. Any of the monkeys that answer the phone won't have a clue.

I'd go with this as well. :) The site has got so many glitches and bugs that these things can happen without anyone ever finding the cause.
