Will this hurt me as a seller or no?
 

Will not responding to "offers" affect my dsr ratings at all?
I assume not.

Also, someone mentioned that when a buyer asks a question and your respond to it, you automatically as the seller open yourself up to receiving lower communication dsr stars..if someone can elaborate on this it would really be appreciated....Im not sure how you could be a good seller without answering buyers questions? Maybe I misunderstood, but clarification would be great.

You only receive a lower rate on communications when a buyer leave a 1,2,3 STAR feedback based on how satisfied buyer with your item which includes products detail, how accurate you described it, how well you communicated with the seller if any questions was asked regarding the item and how fast was the shipping. They can not rate you based on not having any communications with them.

If you have NO communication AFTER purchase then ebay leaves an automatic five stars. Pre sale communication is not measured at all in any way.

Responding to offers or e-mails has no effect on metrics - I routinely skip out on responding to offers

what will eventually happen is the person will then buy your item at full price and leave you a negative because you did not respond to any of the offers. Happened to me before

I don't allow for people to make me offers....don't have time to deal with those things.

I get like 300% more sales because I accept offers on most listings. I've also met nearly all of my long-term wholesale buyers through Ebay's best offer system.

But hey, every business is different!

Yup, cause all I get are stupid offers! lol. If I had decent ones Id take them.

i got a sensible offer through best offer recently but there are many silly offers, so set a price for automatic decline. do not have to deal with those anymore :)

Automate offers.
No reason to reply to them at all. Set a minimum accept and declines amount and call it a day
