I'm too scare to get start
 

I'm not live in US, I only have $200 left and just quit my job last month. I bought ebay steath last week, and see that it will cost some money to create steath account and dont know if it will work.
Buying account is too costly too, I just look around the forum and see that with $200, I can only buy 50 items account, is 50 items account enough to get start?

I'm stuck now, I'm too scare to loosing money, anyone have the same feeling like me when get start with ebay, could you give me some advice, what should I do with $200?

buy stealth book and everything gonna be fine. make sure u could open bank to withdraw money.

what country are you in? Also what country are you trying to sell in? If you change your flag it is easier to help you.

If you only have 200 bucks, go buy some food with that and get a job to rise the funds to buy and sell stuff. You will need some kind of seed money to get started.

I'm from Viet Nam, I want to dropship from amazon to US and UK market, I still dont know which market will easy to jump on, but I see that UK ebay account seem a lot of cheaper than US ebay account.

Is it hard to get start with dropshipping?

I heard that if I go steath, for example with US market, I will need US bank and US paypal right?, can I ask how you guys withdraw money from US bank to your country bank?

Go to a Casino and walk up to the Roulette table. Stick the $200 on zero. Then with your winnings slowly start building up stealth accounts over the next three months.

More chance of success this way than trying to set up stealth with your last $200 in the world, no back up, no job, and not even a product or stock.

Ciao white night, welcome to the forum.

Easyest way to withdraw money from a US PayPal is US bank account.
I personally own an Italian account and sell worldwide with that... less troubles.

Can't you set up a "local" account and go with that? Much easy to manage. Withdrawing is not the only issue to take into consideration... IP, phone number, address...?

Making a stealth account isnt hard, nor does stealth guide cost a lot.

If your scared of starting - thats usually how failures fail.

If your scared of losing your money - you need to get a job first.

ebay is the worlds most competitive marketplace (the last time I checked) - your going to need a good backbone if you stand any chance in there.

Sorry but I cant tell you that. You can start with $100 or even $1,000. Some people start with borrowed money, money they wont even own.

Only you will know how much money you will need. And drop-shipping needs money upfront to buy the products first.

Sorry I cant say better news but everyone is different. Maybe you know some people around you that can lend you money until you start making money.

I personally started with about $450 many years ago, and I built up from there.

Welcome to the forums white_night - there is no room for fear for online sales. If you know your market and know your items, go for it - be prepared for anything and ALWAYS have backup plans.

If you need the money for other things, don't risk it without doing all your research.

It's not expensive. All you need to pay for is the following :

1) Prepaid debit card (Entropay works well usually and costs only $5.25).

2) Prepaid phone (Go to Walmart and buy some **** phone for like $10.00).

Total cost = $15.25

Depends on the person, the situation and the product. Personally I started stealth with less than £50. BUT....

I had no pressure and money for me was fine, my business was already successful without stealth, so stealth was just a way of growing my business further and creating back ups, I was able to take it slow and enjoy stealthing. You need to know your market, your strategy and don't expect an easy ride.

As someone mentioned you are going to need money to pay for your stock but that's regardless of if you are drop shipping or not. And if you want to sell a high volume straight off you will need an aged eb.ay account. Manage your money, sometimes customers can cancel, request returns or even claim loss or damage, you need money set aside for these (hopefully rare) occurrences.

When I set out from the very first day of starting my business, it was a hobby that I did after my full time job. This is a much safer option, I would really recommend it.

In my personal opinion, dont start stealth without a primary source of income first.

Why? because I fear out of desperation, you will turn to selling products you shouldn't be, and before you know it, you've dug yourself a big hole.

Get a job. Research products. Buy stock. Sell stock. Buy Stock. Sell Stock.... the initial stages your going to struggle, because most products on ebay are sold at rock bottom prices, so you need to find a way to deal with it. With your buying power so small, yet again, you will struggle. Suppliers expect you to be buying four to five-figure stock, they wont give you discounts if you buy 10 to 15 items.

Basically, you need money coming in.

Thank you for all advice and thought, I really appriciated. But I think I need to take action instead of waiting like this, I want to make a change to my life.

I'm planning to buy 1 steath account with the lowest limit to get start then build it slowly, can you guys recommend me some provider for ebay account that I can get with a affordable price, I dont need some big account, just small is OK?

Remember that if you are going to have a USA account you have to sort out a USA bank account first.
Then a USA IP address such as a reliable and non abused VPN.

Do you have SSN? If you don't have, I'm not sure it's gonna be worth because you live in vn. 1 stealth can only be used <200/20.000 in 1 year. Dropshipping can only make you 10%-20% profit (very tough competition) You have to pay for vpn each stealth which is not cheap. 1 stealth is not enough for dropshipping. If you want to have many stealth, you have to open many bank accounts and you have to pay tax. I'm not sure you can do that while living in Vn

Oh course he can.....Foreigners have the same business options we have for tax info. The only thing different is non USA citizens can not own a S-corp or file an LLC as an S-corp. Stop scaring the guy with inaccuracies please. :peace:
