Vero Question

Got my listings removed by eBay about 2 months ago (they claimed I sold counterfeit and I tried to explain to them/rights owner but they wouldn't even reply emails). My items were 100% genuine but they still hit me with the good ol' Vero. Long story short, I was not suspended/restricted but I was too scared to list anymore items on that account because I thought I would be flagged. So that's when I turned to stealth and sold the same items and everything went fine.

Although I enjoy the stealth scene, I would like to sell on my real account with my real information because it's just a lot easier.

I recently received shipment of some new products that are from the same rights owner but slightly different items. Think of it as I was shut down because they accused me of selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗ rose gold iPhones but I just got a batch of new space grey iPhones. Would I be able to sell the space grey iPhones on my original account? Or because I was shut down once, I am flagged forever and they will take me down again?

Thanks in advance guys

Re: Vero Question

I usually wait 3-4 months after a vero takedown to relist something. Then I'll use a new title/description/photos..

I've done this many times and have never lost an account via vero. So take that as you will...

Thanks for the response!

You listed the exact same items after it was taken down by veRo and it worked?

Re: Vero Question

Yeah, I just make sure everything in the listing is entirely different. And I try to get at least a thousand positive sales after a takedown, because too many vero takedowns in a short period of time will get your account suspended.

Dangerous risky items - legit or not indeed OP...

Re: Vero Question

Oh I see, I didn't sell at all after my veRo take down and went straight to stealth. However, it has been a solid 2 months since then and I can take brand new pics and make the listing look fresh.

You have a damaged account especially as the items are iphones.

Consider not abusing the account for the sake of flogging iphones

The issues will still continue.

Where do these genuine iphones come from IF there was no cooperation from the Rights holder? It does appear these items are not truly kosher.

Re: Vero Question

If you were buying used iPhones from a wholesaler, and they sent you invoices with all the invoices you purchase, why would showing eBay the invoices not be enough to let you sell them?

Re: Vero Question

Sumer,

Magic word there IF . iphone industry has sellers of all sorts.

Can happen the items are not *cough* kosher.

Re: Vero Question

I've sold iPhones on several accounts, but never to in bulk to where I would put a listing for lets say an iPhone 5 and set a fixed listing with 10+ qty. Mostly just auctions.

But I would hope if I wanted to do that, and I was flagged down, the invoices from reputable wholesalers would be enough to allow me to do so. Especially if there isn't any negative feedback that leads them to believe they are phony phones lol. But then again, eBay isn't known to keep it fair. Making 10% off $300+ phone sales does nothing but money in their pocket...

Yes give it some time before listing it again.

What????

Are you telling someone to list vERo or having a wee spam with classic one liners as you post rubbish?

Re: Vero Question

heroflex's comment was part of an obvious attempt to reach 30 posts, but it wasn't untrue. I relist vero items all the time after waiting a few months. Just nothing counterfeit.
