| Curious what makes you think a VPS is much safer? For the most part that's not really the case at all, as long as you pick a good provider, then both are equally as "safe".
Some people use to think a VPN is more risky because technically it could disconnect and then reveal your real ip address. But that's also not the case because you can simply setup a firewall rule that prevents your browser from having internet access if the vpn ever disconnects, thus full proof. And VPNs also have quite a lot of benefits over a VPS as well, two of the major ones is that a lot of VPS can be very slow & unresponsive, while a vpn generally will be about just as fast as your regular internet's speed. And if you combine a VPN with vmware you can manage multiple accounts at the same time and be logged into multiple accounts and be logged into multiple ips all simultaneously. While on a VPS your limited to managing one account at a time. |
