Simple question

A buyer make an offer for 4 pieces of an item but then asked me to revise it to just 2, what would be the best way to go about this as me (the seller), thanks!

Re: Simple question

Just decline the 4 pc offer, tell em to re-offer for 2.

When buyers do stuff like this, it always makes me think they are up to something fishy

And what MM78 said sounds like the best recourse for this

Re: Simple question

Sometimes you can counter offer and change conditions but it just opens everything up to misunderstandings.

MM's advice is best and easiest.

You can cancel and start again or open an unpaid item case.

Thanks yankee, I think the unpaid case would be safer for me right? Protect against neg feedback?

Unless they pay, you are good to go. I would also block them if it seems like a challenging buyer.

So just state to the buyer they will need to wait 2 days for me to open up the unpaid item case, then 2 days after that they can re purchase?

Unpaid item case will be hostile, they will be reported for unpaid item and get an unpaid item strike.

If you want to sell to them, then cancel and start again.

How new is this account?

Is it solid enough yet to be playing games like this?

How well equipped do you feel to deal with the buyer if things go pear shaped?

Speak to the buyer to cancel and relist...unless is the auction still live?
