Recent restrictions and suspensions
 

It seems that ebay is sending account restrictions again. I am not sure if it has to do with untrusted VPNs or something else. Calling in on the account restriction is very basic. But it also seems they are sending suspensions also. I think this is due to VPN. These have also been easy to clear up with a phone call. They email usually says something along the lines of "you cannot use ebay in any way".

One thing that the ebay rep is saying is be sure to take your own pics and use at least 3 pics.

Just a heads up to everyone listing with new accounts!

Cheers for heads up. Just the US affected, or globally?

As for VPN, are we talking about 24vc?

Are well established account affected?

This is not like the new MC999 that occurs within 20 minutes of the listing. This seems to be a hybrid of that. It has occurred after items have been sold and shipped. So that makes it at least 2-3 days after the first listing. I can only attest for US accounts. I am unsure what VPN it is, but I strongly doubt that they are 24VC. I am sure 24VC is still fine to use, if the issue is the VPN at all. It may be just random.

YES! I have been experiencing it too!
On several accounts.
It gets annoying when they do this. But I have noticed there is usually one or two times a year that ebay goes on a limit and suspension kick
