So, I received a message from an ebay powerseller (public-direct )

who claimed I stole their images, (I got my stock images off of google and thye were from the manufacterer website, so I knew it was bs) they sent me a few messages threatening me-- claimed my items were not authentic--and I decided it wasn't worth their bull****, so I went ahead and took some new photos.

Now, when I log in- my account is suspended indefinitely.

They sent me a message again earlier this evening telling me they've been doing ebay for years and basically throwing their weight around and emphasizing my account being in danger.

Can anyone just call in and mess it up for anyone else? I have 98% feedback, (1 neutral ) my TSRs were amazing, no claims, returns or requests and I got hit with an MC 113.

I was a few days away from hitting 90 days too, I am fracking pissed.

Thankfully I have more accounts, but this one was going to help me reinvest quicker since the 21 day holds were going to be lifted soon enough.

Personally I would call eb.ay, a competitor should not be able to treat you like that and I'm sure you could quickly get your account restrictions taken off when you show that the photos are in fact from the supplier and not this shi**y competitor.

I really hate these sorts of people, how bad must your business be if you have free time for this crap. My free time goes into expanding and improving, not being a b*tch.

I am really over it tbh, I will call in the morning and see what happens, as of now I am still pretty ticked off.

Yes, a competitor can make life miserable AND enjoy your reaction. Note that last bit.

What do you do?

i prefer my own images, watermarked, unique... Then if a toerage copies me, then you know what I could do... ;)

Luckily, watermarks deter majority for me.

Consider this for yourself.

Dont forget Karma!!!! She returns when most unwanted BUT she returns.

This. I would imagine the sweetest Karma b*tch slap would be if this competitor got in trouble for this sort of harassment.

If you want to be pissed at anyone, be pissed at yourself. You stole somebody's images off Google and ignored warning messages from this guy because you thought you were untouchable, and you got burned.

This whole thing is your fault. This was probably just the tip of an iceberg of issues.

Stealth is about NOT drawing attention to yourself.

Learn your lesson, straighten up and fly right.

Remember zenohki, we only hear one site of the argument in most cases...we don't get to hear from the competition...;)
