Buying with a stealth account?
 

I know this question has been asked before, but my situation is a bit more stable than most who ask, just want to make sure I am not missing a red flag...

- Purchased PP & eBay accounts w/real bank account linked
- Actual physical address (PO Box that accepts packages)
- Money currently in my PP account

Is it safe for me to make a purchase through this stealth account? Seems like there should be no issue, but I want to make sure there isn't some major issue I'm missing... any help is appreciated! :hail:

I'm sorry...you bought a Ebay/PayPal account with a real bank account?

You will need to explain what you mean by you bought an account with a real bank account? Do you mean you have added your own real bank account to the PayPal maybe?

Sorry, I should have said my PP account is verified, linked to an actual bank account

Most people are in that same situation. Adding a bank account to a PayPal is pretty common really.

It is a VBA or your own actual bank account you have added to the PayPal?

I've made purchases on stealth accounts several times in the past.

I never do it with verified Paypal accounts though, out of fear of being linked when I enter my home shipping address.

But frankly, I think you'll be fine. Linking doesn't seem to occur when making purchases, only when selling.

If you have access to the delivery address then you can use that

You would not be able to use the bank account to fund payments unless the name matches though.

You would also not be able to add a real card to the account if the address on the PayPal does not match the address on the real card.

So as long as I have access to the delivery address and funds in the PP account, I should be good?

Yep should be

There are always possible other issues that can crop up though. If the account is still pretty new then PayPal does not always let you spend the funds for example.
