Close account with negative fb and create new one?
 

I recently started a new account to sell some toys. The buyer claimed the package was damaged and requested for a partial refund. I have ask for him to return it for a full refund but he didn't reply. Weeks later, I have a negative feedback from him on this new account (I had many sales but none had left me any feedback). Is it ok for me to delete this account and just start a new one? Will ebay link the feedback from my previous account over to the new one?

eBay would easily be able to link you

You would be better off trying to get the other buyers to leave you good solid positive feedback that can outweigh the negative.

James, will they automatically transfer the feedback over or will there be any complication with the new account?

They would limit the new account if it is not created as a link free stealth account.

really James? I thought you are allowed to have multiple selling accounts that are linked to 1 paypal account as long as you dont sell over the monthly limit. The account with the negative feedback is not limited though, I can still sell stuff just fine.

In reality accounts often get shut down because of it.

Very few people look at feedback unless selling something expensive high value. Get 10-20 good feedback and that will be a non issue. If it really bothers you, then buy few cheap things.

Just buy something for $1 and the -1 will go back to 0
