Is there any possibility that...
 

The old account I was using before to sell on which has been suspended (although I can still make purchases on it) would reset after lets say...a couple years...and I can sell again. I assume it would be an enormous NO..but just asking.

Accounts gets eventually restored. The only one i know of is of a friend of mine, it as been restored after 6 years.

I would not think too much about it. Make new stealths and carry on :thumb:

This is going to depend largely on the reason for the removal of your selling rights.

I seem to recall you had dramas with shipping and this flopped more than a little in delivering excellent customer service?

Not saying there may not have been circumstances beyond your control, but ebay stopped your selling because they did not like what was in front of them.

Green bean the reason my original account was banned was due to dsr's
Too many cases of "item not as described"...and too many returns..this was all before the new seller rules started Feb. 20th of 2016.
I just wasn't sure if accounts get reinstate after a certain amount of years and I could start selling on the account again..basically like it would reset after a certain number of years.

Was there a suspension notice with a code attached? Used to be my guideline when giving advice.


Reasons might no longer matter. But they withdrew your rights to sell.

You have to be on top of the entire game.

From what your other posts have said, the issues are popping up again.

Sure it may be the category and choice of items being sold. But you have to tighten up to maintain control.
Would be so miserable to have dramas all over again,imho.

Yes I agree, and I certainly am tightening up big time.
However my original question was if accounts that were banned could be reinstated after a certain amount of years...I still can buy with that account just not sell.

Nobody knows if you call in weather or not you will get selling privileges back. Only you and ebay can hash that out.

As for after a certain amount of time, no. Ebay does not want you as a seller. You would have to prove to them something is different now if you can appeal at all.

Good , if can resell again then keep on sell it , but how many item can sell after you saw can resell again ?

I would say, likelihood of it being restored is so low, it negates any hope worth having. Stealth is my present and future. Past is where my past accounts will belong.

Nope, just says you have reached your selling limits this month and selling level is below standard basically.
If I do actually attempt to sell it gives me this message:

Your limits can't be increased at this time because your seller performance is Below Standard. Please go to your Seller Dashboard to learn more about how to improve your seller performance

That's a long time to wait for something that's now guaranteed.... Make new accounts.
