Do DSR's have any impact on search placement?
 

I believe it used to, but according to the Feb. change it no longer will correct?

You'll never convince me DSR's have no impact on search ranking.

Why would Ebay put someone on the top who ships all of their orders late?

I agree with phaz0rz.
They might not say it out right but its just another one of those things that wont change even if they officially claim it will - same as the policies of their interaction with paypal even though now theyre officially two separate companies - nothing has changed.

Without a doubt one of the many factors that influence search rank. Don't be fooled by any statements. Once your account is at peak in terms of selling performance, you will see first hand with listings right at the top (literally touching the search bar!).

I think it's likely the EVERYTHING has a bearing on search listings.
