How to disable item rating feature?
 

How to disable that new eBay "Item review" feature? Seems that anyone can put a bad rating without even placing any comments.

I think at this point it has now become mandatory to display it.

Agreed, I don't think you can "disable" it.

It is not, it seems. I checked many listings, and only a few have it.

Try to change the EAN of this listing in question to 'does not apply' see if that helps.

In other countries, regardless of EAN, it has become a mandatory part of the listing (which could be taken off before), but as of this month I believe it must stay on.

Yes, pretty much. The product reviews displayed on each listing (on ebay).

If I change EAN, it throw out an error saying that EAN is required.

Should be a drop down list that appears when you click ean which says 'does not apply'.

Some products actually dont have an EAN, so it would be foolish for ebay to force you to enter a value.

Also remember, even if you say it doesn't apply, there is a good chance they will link the listing (by title I assume) and still show the reviews. But worth a try.
