I have a paypal that i have used on several ebay accounts, if the same paypal for a new account would they be able to link it through that?

I was debating this myself, but have decided to make a new PayPal account, and a new email address for it. It only takes a few minutes. I'll need a new bank account, and I'll lose my PayPal debit mastercard, but it will keep my old account from linking to my new 'limited' account.
