get selling limits back, cancelled order?
 

Hi Everyone,

I have a buyer from Puerto Rico that ordered an item and decided he wanted to cancel,

If i cancel the order will my selling limits for the price he paid be credited back to me so i can relist it?

also which option do i use and to receive a final value fee credit?


"I'm out of stock or can't fulfill the order for another reason"

"The Buyer Asked To Cancel The Order, Or There's an issue with the buyer's address.

Not sure you can get the selling limits back.But never choose the "out of stock" reason even if you can not fulfill your order because of this,or you will get a defect on your seller dashboard!

Choose the " buyer asked to cancel" and you wont get a defect and you will get your listing limit back for each item you cancel.

But he needs to accept it for it to go through and get the limits returned.
If he has already paid, then refund him through paypal First so that when you cancel the order it will close automatically.
If you dont refund first then he has to accept it first.

I didnt know that .. i have problem buyers i would rather refund and block but lot of times worried about them not accepting the cancel and then leaving neg fb

No,you can not refund through paypal directly,or you will also get a defect.
When you go to the drop down menu to cancel the order and choose buyer,s reason,ebay refunds the buyer on seller,s behalf,no need to go to paypal.

Since when can you get your listing limit back for cancelled items? That's never been a thing

like i said, the other option the buyer has to ACCEPT the cancellation.
But if you dont want to wait of rely on the buyer then paypal is the only way.

I was not saying the OP should use paypal, i was only explaining options.
