FDA sent back my item.
 

Got a package back today with ''refused'' FDA sticker.
Never had problems with them up till now :confused:

Wow, that's strange. I ship cosmetics daily and I've never had any problems like that. I'm assuming you were trying to import into USA?

If you don't mind me asking, do you know what got the FDA's attention? Was the shipment first stopped by USA customs?

Yes item was sent to US address and probably got held at US customs and then FDA.
No idea why.

Are liquids prohibited to import to USA?

No not specifically. At first I was thinking you may have been stopped by customs for trademark infringement, but if that were the case there would be no need to involve the FDA. They didn't give you any information on the returned shipment? Just a refused sticker?

I suppose your cosmetic (face cream?) contains ingredients that are prohiibited or prescription onliy in USA (tretinoin for exemple)
One of my customer had to deal with it when once custom found some prescription drugs in one packge addressed to him. He now has to change his address when he order such things because custom takes a particular attention to everything he receive

That red sticker indicates that the item did not qualify for importation to the USA.

Next time you post a reject sticker, mention the color too, please.

FYI Dufus, your buyer has probably been flagged by customs for this attempted importation of prohibited(?) substances. It wouldn't hurt to take extra precautions (discreet packaging, different address) if you attempt to reship.

Why are you scary like that ??? FBI won't come to get you today, and if what you sell is legal in your country, nothing wrong can happpen to you. USA is a big market, with many customers, it worth to sell there !!
