Can I list a used iPhone in new stealth account ?
 

Hello,
I just purchased a stealth account .
I read the stealth guide and it says you should never list a high-risk item or VERO in the beginning .
I read that high-risk items is brand new items but I am thinking of listing a used iphone not new one .

Will there be any problem for doing that ?

If its your first item, you'll probably get limited right away. If not, there is a very good chance they'll request to see proof of purchase. Phones are high risk. iPhones, are even higher of a risk.

I found a new i6 in a huge parking lot. Tried to find a lost and found, could not and since it was locked and exhausted attempts to find owner I sold it on my eb personal stealth acct. that only had a few sales for a nice price in just a few hours with zero problems. I was honest with my description.

:clap: I applaud you for being a good Samaritan. In future though, hand it into the police, they would have better resources/chances of getting it back to the owner.

I can already think of one easy way the authorities can return it.

I live in a major city near the police station and when I went there they told me they had literally thousands of phones in their lost and found and I saw no good reason to give it to them to sit in a box gathering dust. I took it to the i store and several phone stores and was told there is NO WAY to find the owner.

Might just be your state, or US in the general then. Here in the UK, props to them for going out of their way to get lost property back to their owners. Heard many cases of phones being returned (here in the UK).

Here the police would just go through it for nudes, porn, and evidence of criminal activity =}-

It doesn't sound like you tried too hard to return it lol.. you just have to call the last number they did and say 'hey I have your friends phone!'. Or go through their contacts and dial mom, dad, grandma, whoever.

And back to OP's question...
Do NOT list that as your first item or youll get your account suspended instantly.
Iphone is one of the highest risk items you could try to sell on ebay so build up as a seller before you attempt to get into that category.

Agreed, many scammers list iPhones on ebay because they go for a high price and the scammers can simply find pictures and descriptions online. Very high risk, be sure to have a strong account before listing it.

Think you are inaccurate.

Many iphone owners have security codes to secure them.

All of ours are coded. Anyone finding one, has no chance of access.... if on the straight and narrow.
The other point is the IMEI can be used by apple to trace info.

not a good item to list for fresh accounts can get limited or burned fast.
