What happens if I accept this return?
 

Buyer opened an item not as described case. Probably a bs claim, but whatever, I am responsible to pay for return shipping.

However, the buyer had the item shipped to a third party carrier, and then had that third party carrier deliver it to a different country that he lives in outside the United States. Sketchy.

So, if I accept this return, what shipping cost will I be billed for? The cost to ship it from the address he used as his delivery address, or the cost to ship it from the country he lives in?

I see the buyer is using ebay in some spanish country. I never had this happen before, so I just want to know which move is best.

If he charges you shipping from the NON-eb registered shipping address....you can use that info with ebay to support your case against shipping fee...

I just accepted the return and I was only charged 3.95 for shipping. So I believe the address he has registered with ebay is not the address from where he actually resides in his country. So does this mean if he wants to ship it back from his country, he has to pay out of his pocket?

What if you offer free shipping do you still have to cover the return cost?
