Packages returned to stealth account address! How to fix?
 

Hi all. I know that if buyer request return, i can provide return address by ebay message. But what if buyer did not put in correct address or package returned to sender by USPS( It happens sometime). It will return to the stealth account address right? How do i fix it? I see that my seller create stealth account with someone's address and the address house owner. So once package returned to them, the house owner will think its their package and open the returned package. Will they report someone using their address & name if too much package returning to them? Please advise

I purchase return shipping label with my own usps click and ship account. This way I can have item return to me and not stealth address. I upload return tracking to eBay and I send a screenshot Shipping label to buyer via the buyers PayPal email address. I then Send message via eBay letting buyer know a return shipping label is waiting for him.
Haven't had a problem doing it this way so far but, I haven't had to do it too much either. One buyer did ask why address was different and I said I had moved since establishing the acct. and they accepted my reason.

Yes, i know about that. But im saying if packages are returning by USPS if some error. I had some package returned by USPS sometime with reason like no such address/street. And the package will return to the sender's address whichs the stealth address.

You should never give another address out in ebay messages.

With the package, include a return label with the right address for delivery.

If this is a concern of yours, it would be best to use Fedex, UPS or USPS directly and upload the tracking number onto ebay.

Stamps.com, endicia.com and shipstation.com are great easy ways of doing this.

Never use Ebay shipping with stealth accounts if you're concerned about this.

I think I read where you said this before. Will try in future with high return rate item that I'm soon to have. Noticed on click n ship it won't charge my account if label is not used in 14 days or something like that. That way I can continue to ship through eBay which I believe has been very beneficial for my account.

Well a year ago I changed the return address to mine. Just transposed the 7694 to 7964 so not to alert Ebay it was a banned address. No problem yet.

Not wise.

1st manual review this will be detected and there may be bad consequences.

Standard advise is to avoid using old banned info that links accounts.

How would you do that without changing it in eBay, if you're using Ebay as your postage provider?

Taping return addresses on packages is not a good idea...

what if I didn't include a return label ?
Is there other placed to create a label other than eBay ?
