People say Sundays the best ending date. I disagree
 

Ive read in multiple ebooks, websites, here and there that Sundays are the best day to end an auction. While this makes sense as the majority of people have Sundays off. I have noticed on Sundays my sales always DROP noticeably.

Anyone prefer a different day or have some solid evidence that Sundays prove to be better than most? I would think Thursday or Friday would be the best. Right after pay-day.

I always sell more on the weekdays. I go all weekend sometimes and dont get any sell or just a couple. Then late monday sales start to pick up. The middle of the week is always the peak of my sales. But I do buy it nows. I don't do many auctions.

i think that depends largely on the product and also on how many competitor products are ending at the same time.
i've experienced monday to be a good day.

For Me.....

Ending time:
#1 - Sunday Evening
#2 - Thursday Evening
#3 - Monday Evening

^^^^ The same. And I hate Mondays:snicker: It is a category choice as well.

It is also a variable on the demographics you are selling to.
Females age 10-25 have a TOTALLY different shopping pattern then a Male age 30-45.
You MUST know who your items are aimed at.

Sunday its usually is a good day for me for sales, not sure whats going on today however..hmm. I guess the snipers will be in effect at the last minute.

Remember that all ads that contain the "Supersize" pictures provided through Auctiva are still flashing the WARNING WARNING WARING sign.

For me, Monday afternoons are best.

To change things up I tried Sunday afternoon and sales were off noticeably.

Auctiva got hacked this weekend.
It has been on a Google warning as a Infected Site all weekend.
Each time a buyer on eBay would click on anyones ad that contained pictures stored on Auctiva the Big Red Google Warning page would pop up.

Monday and Tuesday are best days to me, Friday and saturday night makes me down dramatically. Sunday night just starts up a little bit.

In todays world , i dont think it matters that much people are on the pc as much as they view television . My sales are - all evenings monday through sunday .most of my sales are all thru my store and fixed price listings .
