Default I C Sys, Inc. - eBay Collections

What's the best way to deal with them?

They have my real initials and last name, PO Box and Cell number.

They call my cell 2-3x per day. I have their numbers on silent and never answer it so it's not that big a deal. But I wonder, how long before they stop? Will they ever stop? or Should I go ahead and get a new cell number?

TIA

How much do you owe them? Do they have your SS#? If it is under $1000 and unjustified then tell them flat out you are not going to pay and you are going to dispute it. If it is over $1000 then you should answer the phone call and say that this is the brother or sister and that the person they are trying to find got deported from the country(Pick One Country)

If they have your SS# then after awhile they will just give up and it will show up negative on your Credit Report for 7 years.

Tell them that you have never had a eBay account.
And that someone must have stolen you information.

You can ask any collector to stop calling you and they have to stop. You don't have to explain yourself. Just pick up the phone and tell them to stop calling your house and sending letters.

It was my original account and I was not planning on getting suspended so I used my real info. They do not have my SS. The amount is only $150 so it's no big deal. But eBay screwed me, I want to screw them back

Don't pay those idiots, I suggest you read the other comments people posted. It is not a large amount, if you want to keep a good standing just pay them. They called my house for $32 I owed ebay....LOL

I owe them lots of money. Do those collection agency ever really collect anything? I guess if they had any of your real info, they would just harass you until you paid, but with call id I wonder if they actually talk to anyone now days.

Aye, if they have your SSN or any real information they can hurt your credit..

They get paid.

If a collection agency has enough information, they will try to recover the debt.

In your opinion, is one's initials and last name enough?

In some cases that may be enough, yes. Others have posted options so it is your choice.
Keep in mind that you could have a note on your credit records over an amount of $150.00.
You decide.

I owe eBay about $600 dollars on one account and they just suspsended it - I've got all made up info though, even phone numbers. If I pay the fees in a couple months time will I get reinstated or will they be angry because they couldn't contact me to recupe their funds....????

Because I might need the account one day. It's a good standing account. I have never had a violation with it, it is 12 months old and I have 100+ Positive feedback...and qualified to become a powerseller...

I am using other accounts now, but who knows...I might need this account one day but I'm not prepared to pay the $600 dollars right now....

Sammi, IF it was suspended for non-payment of fees, you MIGHT get it back after o/s fees are paid. (You will have to ask for that honor). But just be aware that ebay are known to
suspend such accounts at a later time for any reason.

Thanks Greenbean, I will use it as a last resort then and start working on other accounts...! btw, remeber about how I was asking you about advice for the ATO...? eBay ended up e-mailing to tell me that I received the e-mail in error, that I didn't pass the threshold and that they didn't give my info to the ATO! Figure that one out!
