Ebay Noobie Questions

Okay I know this forum is more geared towards those who are already selling on Ebay/Amazon and not really a "how to" sell but I have a few questions in regards to selling on Ebay.

A few things I recently learned:
- There is this thing called vero list on Ebay of forbidden brand you cannot sell
- There are limits to how much listing you can list, type of item you can list, and category you can list in.
- The avg fee with ebay + paypal will probably come out to be about 15% ?

So if I was to buy one of these ebay stealth accounts on this forum how do I know what kind of limits are imposed on them before I buy? Would suck if I wanted to sell usb card and then find out after I buy ebay acct that I'm only allowed to list in women's clothing section.

If these ebay stealth accts are created in bulk I would assume that they all have a 0 feedback, right? So why would a visitor buy usb card from you who have 0 feedback vs john doe powerseller with tons of positive feedback? Sure you can set your prices lower but with 0 feedback there's very little trust in you, so visitor would probably choose the more expensive item from a seller whose proven to be trustworthy. So how does one build up the feedback high enough to gain trust?

Any other things I should know before buying an Ebay stealth account?

Re: Ebay Noobie Questions

1. If you buy the accounts from verified sellers here, they will let you know what limits are involved so speak to them.

2. USB card is considered high risk/electronic - lot of problems in this market.

3. Don't assume all accounts sold have 0 feedback unless the seller says so.

4. How do you build up feedback? By selling other things...again, if you plan to sell USB cards only...you can expect some problems....

Re: Ebay Noobie Questions

Go to the marketplace.

Read the opening post by the sellers.

They describe what they offer.

You can then select what interests you and then discuss with the seller potential requirements.

Ask questions before committing to a purchase of an account.

Good to clarify - try not to use electronics or high-risk counterfeit-able items as examples :)
