Calling Ebay from your phone that is linked to account?

I have a question. So i just realized that Ebay knows what account you're using by what phone number is registered with it when you call. So if i don't have access to the phone number that is listed on the Ebay account i am using at the moment, is it possible to call ebay using a spoofing app and calling from the number that is registered? Or would they know ?

Dont know about the spoofing app. I just use a voip phone service to call them up using the real number on records. probably the safest option
