Managing Many Ebay Accounts

So I just had one of my Ebay accounts have a decreased selling limit. I was already unhappy with how much I could sell so this does not help matters.

I have two at the moment and am running a VPN with VMWare system to manage things.

What I would like to know however is how do I run many accounts in regards to PayPal?

Is it possible or even wise to have multiple Ebay accounts connecting to the same PayPal? If not, then what is the best route to take? I know that PayPal requires a Tax ID so this complicates things as I can only use my EIN (my SSN is tainted).

Really need to figure things out, this year has not gone as I had hoped.

Read stealth book, too much to cover here...

Well I know much about stealth. I have run stealth Amazon and Ebay accounts. I just need to know about multiple PayPal accounts.

Anyone have any recommendations?

Ask more specific questions.

One paypal for each ebay. If you need 10 accounts, then Make or buy 10 accounts. If you need 100 accounts, then make 100 etc..

I would start off with adding one new account every few days until you hit enough accounts to meet your needs. I would still add accounts for backups along with for tax limitations.

If you have read the book, then you know that it is not recommended to mix accounts. The ratio is 1:1.

Are you suggesting I just create "temporary" PayPal accounts and discard them once they reach the 200/$20,000 tax threshhold? Do you know if both numbers need to be crossed before a tax ID is required? I have read mixed conclusions on this.

For one of my current Ebay accounts I was using non-Tax ID paypal accounts but eventually created a legit one for my LLC. I just do not know of an approach apart from using an EIN, but this is very time consuming and not too practical (to have tens of EINs just for PayPal).

You can't simply dispose of Paypals once the tax ID threshold is reached - Paypal will easily catch on and limit all accounts involved. Paypal can and will ask for a tax ID number if you are approaching (or perhaps your monthly averages show that you will) either 200 or $20,000.

If you don't want to get multiple EINs, then the best way is to spread sales across many accounts and make sure that none of those accounts come close to 200/$20,000.

Let me simplify this for you...dummies can understand...

1. Make 10 accounts
2. Spread your sales
3. Magic! Show is over!

Yeah, that may work. Do you know if PayPal asks for tax information once your reach ONE of those numbers or BOTH? 200 sales really is not that much so it makes a pretty big difference. I still have not gotten a definitive answer based on reading the forums about this.

It is on projections.

for most people it is around 120-150 items OR 15K but it could be at $1000 it really depends on how fast you sell and what months.

Call ebay and ask them to increase your limit.

paypal ask for tax info on projected sales. Users have been asked for tax info when only 75 items have been sold.
