Used Branded items
 

I notice on the forum,you guys say new account should stay away from brand items since there high risk, but my question is what if it is a used item that use to be yours? For example I am making a new account but I was thinking about selling somethings in my closet that I no longer use and I found some old Mitchell & Ness Laker Snap backs, Vanz, and nike shoes. I was wondering are these items okay?

Nope will still get you booted .. branded items marked new or used is risky .
And with a new account one hit and your toast . Thats y it is important to build a good solid account very first thing .. then you "sometimes" can withstand a trademark violation just get off with a warning more or less.. Everyday junk is best way to start .. #1 grandma coffee mug box colored pencils brass apple decor i sell lots of home decor JUNK but ppl like it :) Can just seem super friendly and include a note telling them they are the best and thanks soooo much for doing business with you and your online biz means the world to you if any problems contact you FIRST thing ...:) good luck to you

Well, they are at their free will to ban your listing or not, they are Brand Owners, and can request anything from EB. So... stealth is your best friend in this matter.

Build your account up for a couple of months, then slowly start selling your used branded items.

I sell used branded used stuff all the time!! eg. personal or family stuff, kids branded stuff etc etc, never had a problem (well just once). Just one of each item and maybe I have a clear out and sell 4-10 different items at a time, not an issue...even on newer accounts actually, not brand new ones though, at least 10 feedback and a few months...

I am fully convinced that it is programmed into the "bot". If your account doesn't meet A B C spec within said code, then it will grab your listing as a risk precaution and remove it. Vero is a highly tricky beast to tame. Sometimes it will attack you and others it will not. But there are some items that are Vero'd far faster than others. No matter how you change the description, eventually if your listing gains top status from the rest of the algo allowing it, it will find you.

Right, but the account cannot be brand new. An account with a few months of selling and some feedback will have a lot more trust then a brand new account.

Just sell books from a book bin, second hand clothing, whatever you can find, i have a stack of dirt cheap hdmi-y connectors which sell for a small profit, all no name
