How To beat Ebay-Owned Gumtree?
 

Hi ,I've been having trouble posting on Gumtree .

I've used fresh IPs , cleared metadata , cookies,cache , taken different images and even used different contact numbers/emails .However my ads/accounts continue to get limited .As Ebay owns Gumtree do you have tips on how to get past this ?

Also side question as I don't want to waste my money purchasing a VPN on gumtree if I do need another fresh IP , would I be able to use mobile tethering?

Have you used DIFFERENT user accounts on your computer?

Fresh IP is important but are you using cheap or free VPNs that have been potentially OVERUSED?

Stealth guide info applies to gumtree as well - works decently.

I used different user accounts and even set up a virtual machine.
Also regarding the IP, I purchased a fresh VPN from 24 vc.

Where is the sub forum of Gumtree ? I pressed ctrl + F on the home page and couldn't find it , but I wrote gumtree in the search bar and read quite a few posts regarding gumtree.

Most probably you are being tracked by some other fingerprint besides IP address. May be evercookie, canvas fingerprint, user-agent, timezone/ip mismatch, fonts fingerprint etc

@kamase, you get limited only after you post your ad up - correct? Risky listing? Keyword problem?

Lol very true, there are many intelligent people on here maybe they can crack gumtree and come up with a gumtree stealth system :dance:

There's no way Gumtrees stealth detection is better than eBays.

My guess is OP is posting ads that are too unique. How many Australians are posting their used Kitty Cat Scratch Posts to Gumtree? Silly example but you get my point.

TITLES, PHOTOS, DESCRIPTIONS, ITEMS, ETC all need to be unique and seem to come from a completely different person.
