What should I do if buyer refuses to respond to return shipping label??
 

Hi,

Here is my story

I recently came across I feel a scam artist buyer who recently opened a case against me. He is not satisfied with his purchase, so he asked to return item. Since I'm using a stealth account I decided to provide buyer with another address outside from stealth account so I could gain back possession of item .. Buyer responded back saying he's not shipping to no other address that's not on file, and he also said the he will complain to E'bay about me.. After I created a new address buyer never responded to E'bay by uploading tracking info .. When will E'bay release funds? I really need funds asap, and its going on two weeks now. Since I don't want to jeopardize account how can I get E'bay to remove hold?

How much is the item worth? It also sounds like the buyer might know a thing or 2 about returns and releases...maybe stealth even...

Exactly! I really think he knows his stuff... Buyer opened a case "Item Not As Described" . After I told buyer i have proof, and documents to authenticate item to show E'bay customer service buyer never responded back...

Basketball sneakers are a rough market - besides sellers who are selling bogus items, you will find buyers who will take advantage of these sellers. I am not sure when eBay will release funds - do you have proof that your sneakers are genuine?

Be patient and use the silent treatment. Many buyers get mad and act like they are going to return in hopes of you offering them a partial refund with them keeping the item.

If he doesnt ship it back then the case will close in your favor.

Keep all info - shipping, tracking, etc - in case of chargeback too

Depending on the price of your goods and the amount you are selling maybe you want to look into using a Shell corporation which will forward goods to you, just in case.
