Errors when using eBay Gift Card. (Buying from eBay)
 

Hello there. I had created two eBay/Paypal accounts. In the first one, I used a eBay gift card code, and made my purchases. Everything went through flawlessly and worked well.

Then a few days later, in the second one, I used a different eBay gift card code from a trusted seller, and the first two purchases went through fine. There was still a lot of money left on the card, and I tried to make a third purchase, and got the error message "We can't apply this code to your order."

I was using separate VPNs for each one.

The paypal account was unverified, so I got all of the things to get it verified. I tried everything I could think of, but the code still says "We can't apply this code to your order." (And I used the site which allows you to check the balance to make sure the balance was still high.)

That is fine for this instance, but I wanted to make sure that it doesn't happen in the future. Would purchasing an eBay/Paypal combo from one of the people selling in the forum work to allow me to make purchases in the future?

That's happened to me a few times. In a nutshell the reason was because there was some sort of fraud related to the gift cards. You may or may not get an email from ebay about it eventually.
