Dirty Competition...Any advice on how to stop?
 

Hey,

I have someone who keeps social engineering hacking one of my stealth accounts....

They purchase an item from me, do not pay. They then do a User Information Request to get the name, address and phone on file.

They then ID Spoof call eBay and they gain access to my account with just alittle information. They then communicate with eBay and they saying information that gets the account suspended. Because its a stealth account, when I call to get the issue fixed, they are immediately cautious and want SS#, License everything to unlock the account.

Is there anything I can do to stop this?

I highly doubt this is even possible, are they telling ebay they lost control of the account's email adress?

When you request user info,you can only get seller,s state,city,name and phone number,but no specific address is included.

Have you tried setting up Security Questions?

If this guy invested as much time into using ebay properly, he'd be a millionaire.

You're selling something in a competitive niche it would seem - not much you can do...maybe try a different ebay country platform? With all proper aspects like address, IP, etc - bit intensive to do the research to set them up but it might be the right move initially
