2 mo old stealth, can I list low starting bid, high buy it now?
 

Hi guys,

I have a new stealth I bought through Aspkin, it's 50/$10000 (or something like that) per month. It was created in March, I used it to bid on 2 items a month after purchasing, and now, 2 months later I'd like to start selling by listing 1 item to start.

Thing is the stuff I sell generally go for $500-1000. What's more of a red flag?

1) Starting the listing at $500 auction
2) Starting the listing at $0.99 with $1000 BIN
3) Starting the listing at $0.99 with a hidden $1000 reserve
4) Starting the listing as fixed sale for $1000 with Best Offers accepted

I don't know how to best start selling. I could alternatively list it at $0.99 with no reserve or BIN but that's not ideal as I can't afford to sell it for nothing.

this will be the first listing. I haven't sold anything yet. Only bid and won some stuff!

Selling such a high value item as a first item is really not a good idea. Start off with some low value / low risk items.

After I sell 1 low value/low risk item can I list a high value item? When can I start listing my own items (that are high value)?

You can have an account sit for years but if you don't sell anything at all....it's still considered new. The dollar amount you want to sell will get the account limited/banned quickly. You need to start selling low value and non-risky items to begin.

No, you need sell a few more than just 1.....try and sell at least 5-10 low risk items.

Id sell like 4 dollar store items and 2-3 $50 items , than 30 days after the first sale if you had no problems all perfect sales with some positice feedback id than sell 1 high priced item auction style

However this is a generalized answer, what your item is and the brand will weigh highly on your selling approach
