Question About Running Many Accounts
 

What is the most number of accounts you guys run on Ebay?

I have 3 right now, but I can't do nearly the damage I need to do yet, as I need to list thousands of products.

Also, for each account, what is done about a return shipping address? You obviously cannot use the same one multiple times so how should this be approached? It also seems impractical to have a bunch of PO Boxes.

People here routinely run accounts in the double digits and spread sales.

PO Boxes work for many people - you can have one and use it as a professional return address IF NEEDED...then you would e-mail the buyer directly in case of returns (just one example of approach)

When returns are opened though, a label most times needs to be provided with the proper return address.

With that being the case, a designated address would need to be in the Ebay system.

I just can't imagine having 10 PO Boxes and having to make that many trips.

Yeah, if I could get packages relayed to my address somehow, that would be much more ideal.

How many returns do you anticipate? more than 10 a month?

Right now I get 3 or 4 returns a week. But I only sell maybe 15-20 a day using my experienced account.

So here is my situation, and I really need to think things through.

I dropship products from Amazon to Ebay. Basically need to list 100 products just to get one sale daily.

Basically, I want to sell about 5 times that, so that would be 20 returns a week total or so.

3-4 returns a week is a lot actually...and dropshipping too.

Dropshipping returns are worrisome :(

If you do amazon to ebay it is actually not. Because ebay and amazon allow you to do it. In the worst case you refund the buyer and that's it.

I don't really understand why you guys hate dropshipping here.
I agree if you don't like dropshippers from China but I personally don't see anything wrong with amazon to ebay arbitrage which I've been doing for months now. My feedback is still 100%.

It's kind of hard to believe that Amazon would send out so many faulty goods.

So I'm not sure how customers can be accommodated with returns via message when Ebay has a process of opening return requests and closing them once the tracking on the label shows they have arrived.
