Quantity Automation

QUESTION # 1
I create a variation listing of shirts in sizes of S, M, L with qty of 5 each
Someone buys 1 of the L
The L quantity is now 4 (others are still 5)
how to automatically update the L qty back to 5?

QUESTION # 2
I created a sale starting Tuesday 6:00 PM ending next Tuesday 6:00 PM
The sale now ended
How to automatically restart the sale?

anyone knows?

Re: Quantity Automation

I use inkfrog to manually add quantity.

Then use inkfrog relist feature to auto relist when listing ends.

By linking all accounts to inkfrog, its easy to hop into all the listings and make relevant updates.

Do you think inkFrog would inform Ebay if you own multiple (stealth) accounts?

Re: Quantity Automation

No they don't

You can be caught out by the image hoster though as all the stealth accounts would use the same user ID in the URL

Re: Quantity Automation

Play thanks for input but I want the qty to update automatically as soon as someone buys the item rather than wait for it to end, I want the listing to go until I cancel it (it is "Good Til Canceled)

You'll have to pay someone a few hundreds if not thousands to develop you a nifty tool that could do that. You basically need a software that will 'check' and 'update'. Whilst the concept is simple, coding something like this could prove difficult, buggy even.

Its internet, NO!

People expect not just an answer, but also a bag of cookies and a bj BEFORE they even post the question.

Is it that expensive?? and where do I find someone to do that? Isnt it just a few lines of code? you 100% sure it's the only way to get it done?

Coding is an expensive market at the moment. You'll need to do your own research to find someone who knows what their doing. Applications of this nature MAY need constant development, so whatever the price, you need to constantly fork out more money.

LMFAO @ forking out thousands of $. That would be a relatively simple script.

Luckily and entire program has already been written so you won't need to spend near that much!

Thanks a million! I just signed up for Quantity Manager, I can't believe I never even looked for such plugin as I always thought it isn't even possible

The Quantity problem is now solved!

Any idea on the restart-sale automation?

Disregard, I got it all! Ki Markdown does exactly what I was looking for with the auto sale restart
I can't believe I spent so much time manually refreshing quantities and restarting sales not knowing these tools ever existed
Thanks so much for all the advice you have been of tremendous help!
