.PNG/.JPG Metadata
 

Quick question:

Once I convert a huge batch of images to .PNG in photoshop will the image contain any metadata?
As far as I've read, only jpg has the metadata. Am I right?

I took photos, renamed them, batch purified them and then automated batch in PS. Surely there is no "dangerous" data in the images?


Just watermarked a pile of images to .png and I can't be bothered to do it to jpeg again.

If you "batch purifie" them, metadata is gone no matter what extension you will use then.

in my case i use mac and i have a free app where i just put the images there and gets clean and fast all information.

I never knew you could batch purify metadata from images. So this post was useful for me! :D

Ironically the software I use is called batch purifier:)

Free for batch purifying unlimited jpg format images. Works a treat.
