OLD EB account plus NEW PP account
 

Hi, i have old EB account with a nice feedback. Been using it with old PP account for buying, but never linked them. At one point PP limited PP account after long time use. EB account is still ok.

Now im thinking about selling some stuff on EB. Would it be ok to use that old EB account but with OTHER registered name and new stealth paypal account with OTHER registered details, or would it be best to start all over?

In any other case i would just start all over again, but because of good feedback i would like to keep that EB account. What would you suggest???

I would be very cautious. Because if one PP was already limited with these accounts linked it wouldn't take much for PP to figure out that your trying to dodge their original limitation. I would be thinking I could get more money stuck in another account for 180 days.:doh:

hmm.... its sad as hell to start it all over again this time as it has good feedback. I feel like it is stupid idea to keep using it, but wanted to find a way arround :/

I dont see what it would hurt. Worst case is they shut the paypal account done. So what? Do it. I have done it. I even had ebay set paying two paypal accounts at once and ddint hurt anything. Was a clusterf trying to figure out where cash was going for a month till i saw i was using one addy on some auctions and anoter on others

Shutting the pp account down could be problem for people already having money being held by paypal - and if paypal sees too many accounts by the same person holding cash for long periods....well....could be quite odd looking necessitating further ID checks, clarification, and...holds :( just saying.

What about for someone with less moving parts going on?

Old eBay account, new paypal with same dob an ssn as a good standing paypal account? (The good standing paypal account is linked to a below standard eBay account, with the only issue being poor search placement due to improperly closing out 3 returns)
