Found excellent bank for ebay acct, so easy...
 

Just a heads up, been dreading the bank account portion of this process... But found one SO good and easy I had to comment...

I was able to open a 5/3 Bank checking account online just now, on my iphone, in under 4 minutes. Now that I'm familiar probably 2-3 minutes. I got my account number, routing number, online login, everything in the 4 minutes. you won't need any documents what so ever... Just ssn and drivers license number. No in person contact, no upsells for mortgages, or waiting for your turn to speak to a banker.


Further, the reason I'm really excited, they have a $200 bonus offer right now.... With very simple requirements. There is a link on their website, and I got my unique $200 bonus code by email instantly. You can NOT enter the code online, but when you sign up they will give you their 1-800 number. My bank acct was already active, and in their system. Another 4 minutes or less and the unique code was applied to my account without any issue. (He did seem to act like it was good I called right away, so prob want to call them same business day and have it applied)


To sum it up... 10 minutes total, and I'm all set for paypal deposits, and will make an additional $200 in 6 weeks or less. No affiliation, just amazed how easy that was!

That part of it is on you... This is just to avoid the branch and make an extra $200.

What I meant was.... If you 'misspelled' your name the online system may or may not catch it. If it does, it'll let you know immediately and prompt you to correct it.

Otherwise, unless users report negative experiences, id assume it would have roughly the same success rate as any other bank. This was opened with proper and correct info.

I don't think you understood my question, Have you tested this Bank with PayPal where the Names are completely different than the name on the bank account? Obviously you have to open a bank account with real and accurate information...that's a given.

No I just opened the account and this is for my actual info eBay account. I am not stealth. Unless people report issues with 5/3 they should be just as good as any other bank, just easier, and made $200 this hour.

OK, I just wanted to clear that up before people start opening an account with this bank and presume it would work with Stealth....because well, this forum is all about Stealth. Although, if this bank has not been tested it would be interesting to test out.

Correct me if I'm wrong... You need an a new bank account either way. And this is how to obtain one in 4 minutes with account number to immediately start transfering money from paypal. Sooo.... This is the easiest possible way to do so. You couldn't make one faster if you worked at the bank.

It might be the fastest way to open a bank account without already having an account at an existing bank for sure...but some testing will have to be done with Stealth information for sure (if it already hasn't been done).

i can confirm that 5/3 works for mismatch names. currently using them. but everytime i go to open an account i get bombarded with "buy your own house" bs this and that.

Thanks for the confirmation! Another good thing is other boards confirmed paypal works as a direct deposit with 5/3... To take advantage of bonuses and what not.

Also important to note $11 monthly fee, that drops to $8 with $500 a month or more in paypal deposits. (Or $0 monthly fee if you keep $1500 average balance or higher, if you have a credit card through them, or a number of other things).

Not everyone in the US can use their services. Theyre only available in certain states.

If you have a local branch you are good to go. Id be hesitant to open a bank account anywhere without a local branch anyway... And am a believer in getting to know your local branch so they look out for you. Just hate the typical sign up process.

Why don't you like the signup process? I like doing everything in person because I go ahead and explain exactly what I'll be using the account for (excluding the detail about mismatched names).

Anyway, are they giving out $200 bills for business accounts too?

Personal account only. I just hate the whole process. But then again I also refuse to stand in line at the grocery store, so take it for what it's worth lol. I'll literally leave if self scan isn't open and go elsewhere.

the last 5/3 account i opened was about 2 months ago and get this i was told i had to do 16 transactions within a month or else i would get charged a fee every month. think it was $20 fee. stupid bs like that makes me want to turn and run but i need every bank account i can get.

LOL, old age I guess I didn't get the 5/3 was Fifth and Third Bank. And yes I have one just a few blocks away on Las Olas. Great info OP. Thank you.
