What Kind of Items Does eBay Immediately Consider High Risk?

OK, I'm slowly gearing towards taking an active interest in selling on the likes of eBay & Amazon to add another diverse string to my bow. By which I mean, I'm in the process of researching and looking to buy additional PayPal stealth accounts, and I've started researching wholesale options and trying to spot value in such a crowded marketplace.

My question is, regularly around the forums and in the stealth guide I see we're encouraged to avoid, at least at first, high risk items. I'm not talking about items which are bang against eBay policies, just those on the right side of the line but which are still likely to land you in hot water.

Common sense suggests the likes of tickets, vouchers, rolex, nike products etc. But are there any specific niches that are particular red flags in your experience?

I'm essentially trying to ensure I'm not going in the wrong direction with my niche & product research before I've barely got started! :juggle:

Responses appreciated.

Digital items, any branded goods whose company is on vero list, any product commonly phaked by China.

The best way to find out if you can make it work in your niche is to just do it.

For.the first handful of items you should just sell items like used books, old tat from around the house. Just to be on the safe side :)

The first sales are the most important. This is when ebay is looking at your account the closest. Only the lowest risk items should be listed. I'd rather sleep easy at night and list a few low risk items per account.

Mobile phones and accessories like cases and chargers, even if they are $0.99

You've gotten limited from selling those particular items? :spy:

Unless your listing your entire inventory, I would deem these products to be one of the safest.
