Hi guys

so I'm selling a virtual currency on ebay. i just started selling after building my selling history with zero chargebacks my account has been doing well for 4 months now.


I have a question, i know that there are lots of accounts compromised and credit cards used by people. suppose someone chargebacks then what can i do as there is no tracking number( I've read people make credit card chargebacks not paypal disputes).


i listed 4 items to begin and they were all bought from UK from 3 different accounts is that something you would think is suspicious?

I find it suspicious but waiting to see others thoughts. I don't want to refund cuz my account will get those marked but if i have due to suspicion to i guess i will.

You're gunna be screwed on chargebacks for this kind of product- pretty much impossible to win them. To a certain extent the same now goes with PP disputes due to them now covering intangible goods.

Unfortunately I don't see a safeguard. You're going to need to accept & work the occasional fraudulent transaction into your business model, treat it like a 'cost' like any other.

yup, i decided not to sell i refunded 2 paypal payments today. will do other 2 tomorrow just do paypal doesn't say why are you refunding all right now.
