How to sell pre orders
 

Ok i do have a few branded items i sell .. 100% legit straight out of the store, I have a buddy that works at store and he puts back what i need then on release day i go in he gets outta stock room and i buy them up.. It is a hot selling item that ALWAYS runs out first day or two...

Question is how do i sell these preorders without defect ? Do i mark ship and print labels later . Mark ship and buy tracking straight from PO or???

eBay have really tight rules on this

You have to make sure that the handling time equates to when the items will be posted and that its very very clear that the item is a presale item

I do the same thing and so long as you do it all correctly you shouldn't have issues.

You will still get numpties that don't read the listing and buy the item thinking that it will be sent before the release date

Good luck I won't even sell my personal collection on eb as I don't really want to lose an account as I buy mine here. James is very right BTW.

It doesn't really matter what category its in. The rules for pre-selling an item are the same

eBay do also impose item limits sometimes as well on certain presales (iPhones for example)

yea i have always marked them shipped with out tracking and a message that when this became available they would get the tracking ,, you think its a better route just marking handling time to 30 days instead

Just have a look at the page eBay have dedicated to selling preorders.

Google should be able to help you find it pretty quickly
