Best shipping method from US to UK?

Ok so this past month I have been ordering a large amount of stock from the US for my website (I'm based in the UK). I usually use ParcelHero which is a price comparison shipping website that usually has pretty cheap shipping deals from the US to the UK. I normally pay around £50-£60 on one package being shipped, and normally mark the item value as £200 (even though its normally more), but every time I receive a package I get a bill from DHL with the customs duty and vat charges. I just got a bill from DHL today being charged £80 for a package that had a value of £200.

Basically what I'm trying to say is I've had around 15 packages all shipped from California to the UK this month and I put the value as £200 each and I've had to pay around £50 shipping for each package and then on top of that I've had to pay £80-£100 customs fees for each package as well.

I'm just thinking surely there is a cheaper/better option than what I'm doing right now. Its clothing I am buying and most of it ships from Los Angeles, is there any type of service that say if I ordered from 15 different suppliers that I could have it shipped to an address in the US that would basically bundle all my items together and ship them together rather than paying to ship 15 different packages? I don't know if a service like this even exists but I really need to find a better option because I order on a monthly basis and its taking a large chunk away from my profits.

If the package is valued at more than £200 then really you should be paying more in import duties so as it is your saving yourself quite a lot of money by undervaluing your items. Just remember is customs open a package and realise that your undervaluing your items then they can seize the items.

RE the second question. Have a look for parcel forwarding companies and then ask them if want you want to do is possible or not.
