Problem changing item duration
 

Right, pretty simple problem that I can't seem to find answer to- Might be something simple, hopefully.

So, I've got items listed for 30 days by accident and I want to change them to Good Till Cancelled. Seems pretty easy, done it millions of times before.

BUT, this time it gives me error and the error reads:
"The listing was not updated because it is fixed price listing with a previous sale or a pending Best Offer"

Non of the items have had previous sales, as they are individual items and non of them have pending offers.

Whats the problem and how can I fix it? Surely I don't have to end all listings and relist as GTC? Seems a bit rude if I'd have to do all of that.

As I've said- I've never had this problem before and I have changed my listing durations many, many times without any of this mess.

I've never had a problem taking all my listings and change them from 30 day fixed price to GTC. Weird.:spy:

you will need to relist the item again to have good till cancelled and you must have a shop to get this

I have a shop and I know that if I end the listings I can change the duration- The question was, where the **** has the error come from suddenly, what went wrong?

I've done this long enough to fix bits and pieces here and there- I wouldn't have made a thread unless it was something odd that needed attention. Never happened to me before and I run multiple accounts and I change things all the time without any problems. Suddenly theres this massive error randomness in my life, and I don't like it.

I have found it depends on several things. Like if you have a store, how much time is left on the item, i believe whether or not item has watchers. The time format it was originally listed as. I have run into some weird things, in the long run i have had to just end the item in order to change duration of some items if i really needed to.:attention:
