eBay private seller - Top rated seller?
 

My private eBay account now qualifies for the top rated seller status.

But this is subject to upgrading to an eBay business account.

If this worth doing? The only benefit I can see is the 10% on fees but they probably get most of that anyway with the higher business rate fee structure.

Can I get some feedback on this guys. Would you bother to upgrade to business seller just to get the top rated seller options?

Typically you save more money going business over a personal account in the long run (from what I remember). But I focus mostly on Amazon these days.

Going to business acc is a must in terms of lowering fees. Opening a shop also is a smart thing in a long term - offers nice savings on fees.

I've always wanted a shop, but doesn't a shop put you lower in search results compared to just having normal listings?

Incorrect. If your doing everything right, you'll find those listings are at the top.

OP - If saving on fees is a must, by all means TRS is the way to go, but it does attract a lot scammers depending on the niche your in.
